Write a paragraph on a recent Tree
Plantation Drive undertaken by your school. Your paragraph should be in about
seventy words. Give the following details:
Tree Plantation Drive
The name of our school
is ABC High School (H.S.). It is situated at Aurangabad in Murshidabad
district. This year on 5th June, our school arranged a tree
plantation drive to celebrate the World Environment Day. The local MLA was
present on the occasion as the chief guest. The programme was inaugurated by
the local MLA by lightening a lamp, followed by Rabindra Sangeet sung by us.
Then he delivered a short speech on the need of planting more trees to save our
world and planted a tree himself. Then some of our students planted trees in
and around the school campus. A cultural function was also arranged to make
students aware of environmental degradation. I also planted a tree. The
programme was ended with a thanks giving speech delivered by our Headmaster.
