as vapour-gets heavier-condenses, forms clouds-falls to earth as rain
The Water Cycle
Water is one of the most important physical components which are essential for survival of life on earth. The process in which water evaporates and falls on the lands rain and later flows back into the sea via rivers is called water cycle. At first, water evaporates from oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, ponds with the sun’s heat. Then water vapour, being lighter than air, rises up in the sky where it comes in contact with cool air and condenses into tiny droplets of water. Now these tiny droplets of water float in the air as cloud. Consequently these tiny droplets become cooler and form large droplets of water. Now air cannot hold them. These large droplets of water then fall on earth as rain.
