An April Day

Write a paragraph in about eight words on the changes that you see in nature when spring comes after winter.
Changes In Nature During Spring
After the cold, dreary
days of winter come the spring. The bare trees which are stricken to the heart
with winter's cold revive and new shoots come out. The grey nature turns green.
The sky looks blue and the clouds float like sailing boats. The cold wind from
the north stops blowing. (Gentle breeze blows from the south) and the warmth of
the sun produces a pleasant feeling to all. The flowers bloom and the sweet
fragrance spreads everywhere. Birds sing and bees and butterflies fly about.
Everything in nature becomes / looks bright and beautiful.
(At last the icy
winter becomes a distant memory and nature has adorned herself to greet the
prince / king of seasons ‘Spring’.)
Activity 8(b)
You have a separate routine of work in the morning and in the
evening. Write a page in your diary on that part of the day which you prefer
more.
Of the two - the
morning and the evening, I always prefer the evening to the morning. This is
because after waking up at 6 o'clock in the morning, it is all work and work
and haste. Time flies. I keep glancing at the clock and try to complete my
homework quickly. I become really nervous. But in the evening I am relaxed. I
sit before T.V and watch my favourite cartoon show Chhota Bhim. I also make fun
with my brother. Then I prepare my lessons. We all eat together. This hour is
quite relaxing and refreshing. I like this hour and wait for this all day long.
