A Strange Doll

One day I was returning home from school. On the way I found a new toy shop. There were several kinds of toys displayed in the shop. I got in and looked at them. Suddenly, my eyes stuck to one. A baby doll was blinking and laughing by itself. It also imitated my speech. I asked the shopkeeper about the doll. He told me that it was run by two batteries and it cost three hundred rupees. For that time I came out of the shop with a wish to buy it later as I did not have sufficient money to buy this.

Activity 10 (b)
Write a paragraph in about sixty words on two of your wishes that you want fulfilled.

My Wishes

Like everyone I have some wishes which I want to be fulfilled. Of them I mention here two only. I am fond of reciting poems. It is my dream to participate in the  Annual Programme of our school. I also hope that my performance will be appreciated by every audience.

I also have a desire to board an aeroplane. When an aeroplane floats in the sky, I stare at it. I will be very happy after fulfilling my desires.
