Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore was born on 8 May in 1861. He did not enjoy formal
schooling. He was taught at home by private tutors. Aghore Babu was his
mathematics teacher. He used to play the role of a teacher in verandah. He
treated the railing bars as his students. Whatever he learnt from his teacher,
he used to teach the same thing to his students. In this way he spent his
childhood days happily.
